When buying new systems, don't just look at the fancy new functionality they offer - also think about how well they'll fit into your existing infrastructure. Many companies have found out the hard way that what looks like greased lightning in a demo, turns into treacle stodge when hooked up to their existing backend.

When investigating solutions, it's easy to get carried away by sales excitement, so keep asking yourself three key questions:

🤔 What specific problem am I trying to solve?
⌛ How much time/money am I willing to invest?
💸 What return can I realistically expect to see?

The more time and effort you have to put into to changing processes or retrofitting your existing systems, the more expensive that new solution gets!
